Hiya all!.

What i would like to see in GW is a report button, sorta like the one in Runescape (I know this game really blows, but it does have a rather nice report system) so it would be alot easier to report people, just a few clicks and pam, reported.

What you all think of this?

it would get abused to hell. Having to goto a website right now is what keeps the abuse to a minimum.

I think it is a horrible idea that will get abused awefully. I also think that too many people who cant take a few insults will jsut be pushing that thing every few minutes. its an online game with people of all ages, if one cannot take the swearing, turn the chat filter up, if they cannot take the offense/rude behavior leave the area. This would just overwhelm the Anet people who tend to the Reporting, and i believe alot of people will get banned that really shouldnt. i mean if sumone says something to you in pvp in general, maybe pve idk, and you take it seriously, then idk how anyone can fix that.

Too many people would just click on it after they get pissed at something or someone. It would cause A-Net too much grief and I don't think they would want that. Too many people get banned for no legit reason already, why increase that number?

As stated above. When most of the rage quiting scamming 55 monks I meet say they are going to "report me" even though they were the ones who did something wrong, I shrug it off. I know they won't put the effort into it.

Frankly, I've threatened to report a few guys, but then calmed down as my browser loaded up the plaync site. Its a great deterient to heat of the momement stuff. It kinda makes sure that only those who really deserve it (gold sellers, super racists screaming in town, harashment cases) get reported instead of the people who don't matter (guy who calls people noob, guy who spamed /fame at the end of a RA match, etc). Makes sure a.net support doesn't get flooded with worthless stuff.
